Zion Ministerial Institute has a very diversified student body, with students and graduates
from many different races, backgrounds, nations, and church denominations. Though their
backgrounds, nationalities, denominations, and languages may differ, they all have one
thing in common: like Ezra of old, they have prepared their hearts to “seek the law of the
Lord, and to do it, and to teach” it to others (Ezra 7:10).
Zion Ministerial Institute’s academic calendar is quite demanding, but inside the calendar
are plenty of opportunities for times of wholesome interaction with other students and staff.
Scheduled ministerial outreaches, field trips, educational trips, and recreational activities
provide fun and fellowship.
There are many areas where students are able to minister. Those desiring to use their gifts
and talents to minister to others are welcome to discuss opportunities with the Deans.
Clothing is to be modest and reflecting Christian values. Women are to wear skirts or
dresses, during classroom instruction and church services. Men are to wear jackets and ties
during classroom instruction and church services. During work duties and times of leisure,
pants and slacks are acceptable. We ask that you do not wear shorts and tank tops while
semester is in session.

provided for our international students coming from long distances. Dorm phones are
provided for incoming calls and outgoing calls made using 1-800 calling cards only.
Single Residents. Housing is in dormitory style. Each room provides a sink, bed, desktop,
