Zion Ministerial Institute's Mission

The institutional mission statement expresses the identity of Zion Ministerial Institute in terms of why we exist and our role in the church worldwide. All the purposes and goals of Zion Ministerial Institute are guided by this mission.

Zion Ministerial Institute exists to edify the church and aid the role of the ministry by the development of its students in the area of Christian character and godly wisdom through specially designed curriculum in ministerial service.

Educational Aims

The educational program at Zion Ministerial Institute is intended:

• To provide a sanctuary for God, a place where He will feel welcomed and received, a place where the Word of God can effectively minister to many through the impartation and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

• To provide a place of training where those who have a definite call to the ministry may further develop their gifts and calling in an atmosphere conducive to worship, prayer, and Bible study.

• To develop sensitive and mature Christian leadership where both the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit will be manifested, thereby providing an outreach to the lost, as well as edification to the body of Christ.

• To develop an effective missions program that will provide ample assistance in the form of funds, personnel, and encouragement to all peoples of the world, and thereby fulfill the "great commission."

• To enable students to apprehend truth in their study of Scripture. To apply those insights to the pursuit of righteousness in the life of both the individual and society.

• To help students understand their course in life and their service to family, church, and society, and to prepare them for the responsible use of their freedom and ability by virtue of their commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

These aims are implemented through carefully planned academic programs and activities.

The Institute endeavors to maintain high academic standards by encouraging faculty excellence both in teaching and in other areas of scholarship.
